Aluminum Dry Boxes

Aluminum Dry Boxes

Aluminum Dry Boxes are often used for carrying food supplies, utensils, and other kitchen gear on extended raft trips. Some boaters also use a drybox for items like lanterns and stoves, though if yours uses liquid fuel, you should not keep non-canned (or bottled) food items in the same box. A package of noodles or beans, for example, or aspirin in a first aid kit, will absorb the white gas fumes.

We would ask you to call or email us before proceeding to the shopping cart if you want a drybox. We don't stock these here as they simply take up too much space. If our supplier is out of stock, it may take longer than you can wait so it is best to check with us first.

Dryboxes come in four widths - 36", 40", 44", and the new mini 26" size for narrow boats like the Puma series. The three bigger widths also come in two front-to-back measurements - 13" and 15.5" (sometimes refered to as sixteen inch).

Please note that along with oar frames, we generally don't extend the 10% accessory discount to dryboxes due to very low margins.
